📋 Description

• Provide subject matter expertise supporting the Joint Targeting Platform • Use knowledge of staff roles, functions, and organizational structures, including Targeting Working Group and Decision Board functions, to support systems engineering activities • Work with user organizations and operational units to understand SOPs, CONOPS, and TTPs and enable effective use of prototype solutions • Capture user stories, customer use cases, and draft systems engineering artifacts • Identify desired system functionality and validate current and new operational use cases • Work with Army, Joint, and Coalition units to understand networks, systems, and processes and improve software design and TTPs • Identify unit-specific data sources and systems for integration into the software baseline • Assist in training development and user training support • Participate in working groups, forums, and analytical activities supporting business line or program objectives • Create and deliver briefings, documents, conceptual and analytical reports to customers and project teams • Develop white papers and concept documents for product development and business development • Translate and communicate complex operational/domain information within the team and cross-functionally • Support demonstrations as a Targeting SME • Prototype and produce hardware alongside engineering leads • Support high-stakes manufacturing processes and uphold strict quality controls

🎯 Requirements

• Transitioning service member • Secret clearance required • At least 10 years of relevant experience; targeting experience at a Division level or higher • Served in the military as a senior NCO, Warrant Officer, or Commissioned Officer • Strong communication skills to interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates • Knowledge of Army and Joint Targeting doctrine • Experience with Army Tactical systems and relevant joint fires systems, including MSS and JADOCS • Served in a leadership or technical position at a DIV/BCT or higher; preferably with Joint experience • Strong planning, problem solving, analytical, organizational, and leadership skills • Experience gathering, analyzing, and presenting facts using appropriate data collection and dissemination tools/techniques • Thorough knowledge of applicable complex operational mission areas and program requirements • Ability to work independently with limited oversight and function effectively as part of a geographically separated team • Experience developing Tactics, Techniques and Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, or other process documents • Experience with Microsoft productivity software and applications
