📋 Description

• Ensure strict HIPAA-compliant confidentiality with all client-related data • Reconcile payments posted electronically from the clearinghouse • Post manual payments in billing platforms including Rethink, Tebra, and Azalea • Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs • Post payments from insurance portals • Enroll in ERAs when applicable and monitor enrollment requests • Communicate posting trends to the Customer Billing Advocate / Accounts Receivable team • Identify underpayments and overpayments and coordinate resolution • Measure and monitor key work-performance metrics • Review and interpret payor contracts when applicable • Foster a positive work environment • Complete special projects as needed

🎯 Requirements

• HS Diploma or Equivalent • Minimum 1-2 years payment posting experience • ABA experience • Experience using insurance company websites/portals • Professional phone skills • Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent communication with internal teams and insurance companies • Speech, OT and Mental Health experience preferred • Minimum 1-year experience working in an office setting preferred • Minimum 1 year experience in billing both major commercial insurance companies as well as state Medicaid programs preferred • Experience using Billing Software (Azalea, Kareo), EMR (Rethink) and Clearinghouse systems (Waystar, Trizetto, Availity) preferred • Proficient using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google Docs/Sheets preferred • Must reside in one of the listed eligible states for remote work
