📋 Description

• Serve as a key legal contact for the sales team on commercial transactions • Review, revise, and negotiate MSAs, DPAs, order forms, and NDAs • Lead vendor contract reviews with internal stakeholders who own vendor relationships • Build and maintain commercial legal infrastructure, including contract intake workflows, templates, playbooks, and process documentation • Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve efficiency and scale • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Trust, and other internal teams on day-to-day operational legal matters • Stay current on legal developments affecting AI technologies and relevant laws and regulations • Support the Head of Legal on special projects and matters as needed

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • 3-5 years of in-house or law firm experience • Meaningful exposure to commercial contracts in a B2B SaaS/AI environment across both customer and vendor relationships • Familiarity with privacy law frameworks, including GDPR and CCPA, as they arise in commercial transactions • Comfort with high-volume, quick-turn commercial work • Ability to prioritize and execute independently • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Comfort translating legal concepts for non-lawyer audiences • Genuine curiosity about AI tools and legal tech • Willingness to leverage AI tools and legal tech to work more efficiently • Experience with contract management systems such as Ironclad or similar is a plus
