📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive test plans • Create automated test scripts and execute tests to ensure software quality • Integrate quality and testing processes into the overall software methodology • Analyze data, review reports over time, and prepare final analysis reports based on facts and trends • Apply risk management to develop business-focused test and automation strategies for assigned projects and regression testing • Deliver and track testing schedules across parallel projects in time-to-market-driven environments • Detail and execute test cases and track test results • Summarize testing status and risks, and propose and execute mitigation strategies • Interface with programmers to identify and prioritize test automation opportunities • Develop automated test programs where possible • Analyze, track, and report application issues; maintain project issue and defect metrics documentation • Collaborate with internal and external teams on release and production schedules • Collaborate on automated process improvement initiatives across consulting delivery and product development • Track project progression, resolve roadblocks, and assist with resource management to meet delivery dates • Coach and mentor team members • Demonstrate leadership by understanding customer needs and addressing concerns using insurance industry knowledge, focus, and attention to detail

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience Required • 5+ years working in the Life & Health reinsurance industry; previous work with significant amounts of datasets • Strong understanding of SQL, MS Access, and Excel • 5+ years of hands-on software quality assurance and product development experience • 5+ years of experience testing via RDBMS • Experience testing multi-tiered, web-based products • Solid test planning skills and ability to document test strategies, procedures, and results • Experience delivering, managing, and tracking project testing schedules, independently or while leading 1 to 2 resources • Organizational and time management skills; ability to lead internal meetings, mentor newer staff, and tackle multiple projects • Experience driving and participating in software development/testing process improvement initiatives • Excellent troubleshooting ability • Five years’ experience or reinsurance industry equivalent, three years at TAI • Experience with test automation, including Selenium and UiPath, is a plus • Experience with AWS and Azure platforms • 5+ years working with Visual Studio, .NET, and C# Preferred
