📋 Description

• Process new business underwriting activities, including applications, requirement ordering, follow-up, and application correspondence • Handle support functions for new business casework across underwriting lines and systems • Review and verify personally identifiable information (PII) • Conduct retention searches and load applications • Prepare files for Underwriter review using underwriting technology tools • Comply with OFAC, MIB, state, and federal requirements • Order and track age and amount requirements through third-party vendor systems • Generate correspondence including decline, withdrawn, disability waiver, and cancellation letters • Communicate with carriers, underwriters, and other contacts regarding requests and questions • Provide administrative support to Underwriting, including data retrieval, reconciliation, request tracking, and insured issue resolution • Maintain data privacy in RGA and client administrative systems • Assist with research and project-related work • Maintain regular and predictable attendance

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) • 2+ years of experience as a Sr. New Business Processor • Basic MS Word skills • Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills • Intermediate investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Takes initiative and is accountable • Flexible and adaptive to change • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines • Ability to work well within a team environment • Competent ability to comprehend and interpret insurance and contract documents • Progress towards FLMI or other relevant professional accreditation
