📋 Description

• Act as the go-to subject matter expert for Roche products • Provide high-level support for installation, maintenance, and repair • Lead development of training and mentorship plans for new hires and junior engineers • Analyze regional and customer needs using independent judgment • Proactively solve complex problems before, during, and after installation • Manage escalations and guide the local team through critical technical issues • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the team • Refer only the most complex issues to senior leadership • Travel daily in a field-based role, with up to 60% overnight travel

🎯 Requirements

• An associate’s degree in Electronics, Information Technology, Medical Technology or related field or equivalent military training is required • 8+ years of progressive experience repairing or servicing complex mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking; alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree plus 4+ years or a Master’s degree plus 2+ years of progressive experience • Prior experience in coaching/mentoring junior level staff • Prior leadership or lead worker experience and proven success in overseeing and guiding a work team’s functional activities • Understanding of Histology workflow and processes • Excellent analytical, problem analysis, and decision-making skills • Effective planning, organizational, and time management skills • Successfully completes training and certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy • Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, and information technology • Ability to communicate technical knowledge to lower-level staff • Previous exposure to College of American Pathologists (CAP) inspections and familiarity with the processes • HT, HTL Certification • A+, Security +, CCNA, or similar certifications • Ability to reside in Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky or surrounding areas within 100 miles of either of the states listed • Willingness to travel daily, up to 60% overnight, including some holidays and weekends
