📋 Description

• Work directly with the client’s E-billing Manager on ad-hoc e-bill-related management and client requests • Submit electronic invoices and accruals to clients monthly • Oversee client transitions to e-billing and provide follow-up support to attorneys and clients • Handle high-volume, complex e-submission assignments for key corporate clients • Ensure client guidelines, internal protocols, and firm guidelines are followed during submissions • Act as liaison between billing attorneys, secretarial staff, and client billing staff • Provide expert subject-matter support for electronic billing • Coordinate invoice resubmissions and ensure corrective action for future submissions • Populate, maintain, and update assigned-client data in billing systems and external client web applications • Support e-billing systems by managing user accounts, passwords, security levels, budgets, status reports, and matter profiles • Perform ad hoc analyses of complex client accounts involving collections, rates, and reduced or rejected invoices

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or advanced degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred; commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of education • 1+ years of e-billing experience within a corporate law department or law firm • Knowledge of legal billing and middleware systems is a plus, including Legal Exchange, Ty Metrix 360, Legal-X, and Serengeti/Legal Tracker • Proven knowledge and experience with BillBlast • Knowledge of LEDES billing formats is a plus • Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook • Ability to create, edit, and present complex data, analyses, and ad hoc reports • Strong reading comprehension, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to multitask, use time efficiently, and perform professionally under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands • Ability to influence or steer at senior and executive levels within and outside client groups • Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm EST • Successful completion of a pre-employment background and drug screen
