📋 Description

• Provide cloud operations services and support primarily for Microsoft Azure and potentially Amazon AWS environments • Provide system administration services for Linux and Windows Server virtual machines • Resolve incidents and fulfill service requests • Investigate and permanently resolve problems • Contribute to proactive problem management • Design, document, test, and implement changes • Contribute to compliance and vulnerability management through patching, endpoint protection, and maintenance of key software installed on virtual machines • Contribute to enhancement of monitoring and automation • Work within an Agile product team embedded in the XetaCloud Operations team • Develop operations best practices, cloud maturity plans, and documentation to comply with IT policy and compliance requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience, or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems • Experience working in a multi-cloud environment including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, including associated networking, architecture, and infrastructure • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux • Experience with Datadog, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, ServiceNow, Statseeker, Netscout, and/or other monitoring tools • Experience managing production infrastructure and applications utilizing ITIL v3 (2011) or v4 best practices • Technical communication skills, including ability to author professional user-facing documentation for various user audiences • Microsoft Azure/AWS certifications preferred • Experience with SQL Server, Log Analytics, and Qlik preferred • Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation • Ability to work second shift
