📋 Description

• Support and, in some cases, lead Supply Chain Execution, Customer Proposal, and Program Start-up efforts for the Ship Systems Integration & Sustainment portfolio • Serve as liaison between program office, engineering, operations, quality, contracts, and finance organizations • Develop, coordinate, and execute material strategies supporting program, supply chain, portfolio, and business objectives • Collaborate with Program Management, IPTs, Engineering, Quality, Production Control, and Procurement on supplier management and program deliveries • Generate supplier RFPs/RFQs and process supplier proposals and quotes • Prepare and support gate reviews • Support prime contract proposal activities for suppliers and ISC BOEs • Identify customer prime contract flow-downs and obtain required terms attachments or modifications • Drive purchase order closeouts • Generate and manage supplier new-add/reactivation requests • Manage SCM material sales, EAC, and risks and opportunities • Drive purchase requisition generation and purchase order placement • Execute and maintain Line of Balance activities • Lead make/buy decisions and material affordability efforts • Assist with or lead material negotiations with suppliers and customers • Prepare and execute Material Program Plans • Participate in supplier engagements and reviews • Identify and execute mitigation plans for material impacts to program milestones • Travel up to 25% may be required

🎯 Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, including special program access or equivalent manufacturing programs • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • Experience with prime contract requirements and Statements of Work (SOW) preferred • Experience in a cross-functional matrixed Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment preferred • Experience with Supplier Statements of Work (SOW) preferred • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred • Estimating, proposal, negotiation and/or capture experience preferred
