📋 Description

• Serve as technical leader and test engineer on medium to large engineering development teams creating Command and Control software products • Perform full life cycle systems engineering, including requirements analysis, definition, architecture design, trade studies, integration, verification and validation, formal testing, and software installation • Act as a systems engineering subject matter expert to solve critical technical problems with innovative solutions • Mentor other engineers • Design, develop, and test advancements in Multi-Sensor and Information Fusion, Networked Situational Awareness, and Visualization technologies • Travel to customer sites as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Experience as lead systems or test engineer on a software development program • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1 • Preferred experience with Link 16 Tactical Data Link, Command and Control, Surveillance/Radars, Air Traffic Control, Mission Planning, Missile Systems, Combat/Fire Control Systems, Aegis, or SSDS Mk II • Preferred experience with systems-of-systems software integration and testing across Linux, Windows, virtual machines, and containers • Preferred Java and C++ software development experience • Preferred scripting experience with Linux shells, PowerShell, and Python • Preferred on-site customer software installation, systems integration, formal software qualification tests, and demonstrations • Preferred understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) • Preferred requirements development experience using tools such as DOORS • Preferred system architecture design experience using Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or Rational Suite • Preferred understanding of systems engineering concepts, practices, procedures, and ISO/IEC/IEEE standards
