📋 Description

• Develop, analyze, and complete material proposals • Create the Material Cost Summary (MCS) • Coordinate with proposal team members, including subcontractors, customers, and management • Develop and understand simple and moderate Microsoft® Excel® cost models for proposal development and Gate review discussions • Work with cross-functional teams to understand and evaluate material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts and programs • Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools • Develop Material Basis of Estimates • Track progress, validate and analyze supplier quotes and Purchase Order History • Ensure consistency across the program and confirm the estimating approach is sound • Ensure proposals comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations and internal requirements • Serve as the material point of contact when required • Assess, develop, and implement solutions leading to a thorough material package • Perform detailed and complex analysis of inputs to ensure sound material estimates

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field • Experience with Microsoft® Excel®, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables • U.S. citizenship is required • Must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories • Knowledge and experience with proposal development, price buildup, and estimating and pricing processes • Knowledge of and/or experience with federal proposal regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and TINA • Strong organization and analytical skills • Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a scheduled environment • Ability to work well in teams, with peers and management • Strong oral and written communication skills
