📋 Description

• Source and procure commodity goods and services from a diverse supplier base • Lead RFQs/RFPs and analyze supplier pricing and proposals • Partner with Quality to monitor supplier performance, reliability, and on-time delivery • Collaborate with internal customers to ensure accurate and appropriate specifications • Negotiate to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and manage risk • Issue and manage purchase orders in compliance with laws and company procedures, including import/export requirements • Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure proper receipt and documentation • Review and approve supplier invoices as needed • Apply process improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma to drive supplier quality and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Level 2: Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or a Master's Degree; or a High School Diploma and a minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, and/or supplier management • Level 3: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or government procurement; or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience; or 9 years of experience in lieu of degree • Experience with Excel and reporting • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret-level clearance within a reasonable period after starting, for Level 2 • Procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, for Level 3 • Must have U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance, for Level 3 • Experience or familiarity with purchasing services preferred • Experience in ERP or MRP preferred • Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance preferred
