📋 Description

• Own inventory accuracy across warehouses, 3PLs, and internal inventory locations • Monitor inventory balances and investigate discrepancies between ERP records, warehouse systems, and physical inventory • Develop, manage, and execute cycle count and physical inventory programs • Research inventory variances and identify root causes • Coordinate inventory adjustments and ensure appropriate documentation and approval • Reconcile inventory movements including receipts, transfers, fulfillments, returns, assemblies, adjustments, and write-offs • Partner with warehouse and 3PL teams to resolve receiving, shipping, and inventory discrepancies • Monitor aged, damaged, expired, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory • Assist in developing disposition plans for obsolete or non-sellable inventory • Review negative inventory, shortages, duplicate transactions, and unusual inventory activity • Maintain accurate SKU, item, location, and inventory-related master data • Ensure inventory transactions are processed accurately and timely within the ERP system • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, and Accounting teams to maintain strong inventory controls

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of inventory management, inventory control, or inventory accounting experience, ideally in CPG, food & beverage, or another physical-goods environment • Experience working with 3PLs and/or co-packers/co-manufacturers, including managing data and communication gaps • Comfort with lot tracking, expiration dates, and FIFO/FEFO practices • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills • Experience with an ERP system such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Fishbowl, Cin7, SAP, or similar • Ability to build or improve processes, not just follow them • Sharp analytical skills and ability to investigate root causes • Strong cross-functional communication skills • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize • Nice-to-have: experience with rapid SKU or channel expansion • Nice-to-have: familiarity with retailer EDI/chargebacks related to inventory and fulfillment discrepancies • Nice-to-have: experience supporting an audit or funding due diligence process • Nice-to-have: exposure to demand planning or S&OP processes
