📋 Description

• Manage Global Supply Chain Management activities for the Naval Power Mission Area supporting the Naval Standard Missile Systems production portfolio • Serve as the interface between Supply Chain and Program teams on production contracts • Develop and implement material strategies • Forecast material requirements • Ensure cost and schedule requirements are met • Evaluate metrics to monitor Global Supply Chain Management health • Assess and develop suppliers • Develop and support ROMs and proposals • Focus on supplier health and supply-chain capability, staffing, and production planning for contracted deliverables • Drive processes to successful completion in support of an aggressive delivery schedule • Increase operational efficiencies for business-area and program success • Operate independently and escalate when assistance is required • Process strategic and tactical tasks • Influence team decisions and other program leaders’ outcomes • Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, engineering, operations, and other teams • Manage multiple conflicting priorities with supplier managers • Process information from multiple sources to achieve successful outcomes • Assess supplier health and capability against contracted deliverables • Travel extensively to suppliers and regularly to RTX facilities, primarily Tucson, to engage stakeholders and internal partners

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience • Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1 • EVMS certification preferred • Experience leading program management efforts, addressing issues, and resolving conflicts preferred • Financial experience, supplier negotiation mechanics, and influencing acceptance of cost-reduction opportunities preferred • Experience managing suppliers or projects preferred • Experience supporting supplier production readiness efforts and capacity assessments preferred • Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Projects preferred
