📋 Description

• Support Supply Chain’s Global Transitions team as Quality leader for hardware from contract review through First Article Inspection approval, PPAP Interim approval, TQE assessment, and production readiness/Gate C • Identify and proactively mitigate quality risk using AS13100, PPAP, APQP, PWA 79345 and AS9145 tools including PFMEA, PFD, PCP, MSA and KPC Management • Complete PPAP training to become certified as a Member Focal Point • Mitigate quality escapes through contract review verification and process control requirements • Support risk mitigation in contract review, contract flowdown, subtier management, special/controlled processes, and metallurgical control • Support global transitions project managers with quality deliverables including special-process qualification, ESA, waiver/deviation QNs and eSRIs • Drive robust RCCA with suppliers when nonconformances or noncompliance occur • Train suppliers on P&W quality systems and requirements • Review supplier compliance with purchase orders, scheduling agreements, engineering drawings, specifications and procedures • Collaborate with quality entities through ZERO and Contract Review Verification events • Facilitate data analysis, cross-functional technical meetings, non-advocate reviews and planning discussions • Execute CRV and ZERO events at suppliers • Manage CRV gap-assessment actions through completion before FAI approval • Monitor assigned-part quality signatures and support production readiness/Gate C launch at MRL 8 • Approve or reject Gate C production-readiness/PO workflow • Determine project assignments with the TQE manager and participate in weekly strategy and continuous-improvement meetings • Work with internal teams and suppliers, traveling 40% to domestic and international supply-base locations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience • U.S. citizenship is required • Deep understanding of PW Quality Systems, ESA, MCL and manufacturing processes • Demonstrated experience developing supplier relationships and improving quality signature • Knowledge and understanding of P&W products and services • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Net Inspect, SAP, Qlik, and CORE tools • Supplier development experience preferred • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred • Experience with AS9145, AS9102, ASQR-01, AS13100, APQP and PPAP preferred • Member Focal Point (MFP) certification preferred • Ability to travel 40% to domestic and international supply base locations
