📋 Description

• Deploy, sustain, and support enterprise shared software applications across on-premise and cloud environments using DevSecOps principles • Develop and maintain software deployment automation, container orchestration scripts, and infrastructure-as-code templates • Configure, harden, and maintain cybersecurity and compliance posture of hosted solutions • Support, optimize, and integrate software build/test pipelines • Resolve application service incidents and collaborate with Level-1 helpdesk teams to create internal knowledge base articles • Partner with engineering stakeholders to migrate legacy systems to modern platforms • Develop enterprise-grade solution architectures and present performance metrics and demonstrations to leadership • Collaborate with programs and stakeholder groups to align and support application deployments • Implement and maintain service monitoring scripts and tools to streamline operations and maximize uptime • Support core Software Configuration Management and build capabilities • Drive software modernization and cloud adoption through container-based, cloud-hosted, Git-based solutions • Travel occasionally to on-site locations as needed

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience • Experience deploying and supporting server-based hosted COTS applications and associated databases in an enterprise environment, such as GITLAB, Jira, Azure DevOps Server, and Jenkins • Linux system administration experience • Hands-on experience using Docker and/or Podman • Experience troubleshooting commercial server-based application installs, associated databases, networking issues, and Web/HTTP concepts including SSL, certificates, proxy, and REST • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • U.S. citizenship required • Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance required after day 1 • Ability to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories • Preferred: Jira, GitLab, and/or Azure DevOps Server administration • Preferred: CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting in Jenkins, Azure, or GitLab • Preferred: Kubernetes, OpenShift, Rancher, Tanzu, or similar technologies • Preferred: Ansible, Chef, or Terraform • Preferred: Bash, Python, and/or PERL scripting • Preferred: AWS or Azure cloud application deployment and management • Preferred: vulnerability remediation, disaster recovery, data spill remediation, FIPS compliance, SSL/TLS, and SELinux • Preferred: Windows system administration and Java-based application administration • Preferred: SCRUM, Lean, Agile, or Scaled Agile (SAFe) frameworks
