• Deliver projects across the Americas to achieve project goals, meet customer requirements, and support RTX’s strategic business objectives • Develop programs and oversee projects, reporting, project manager engagement, and delivery under established governance controls • Interact with BU clients, internal stakeholders, and leadership teams to define and achieve project and program objectives • Develop and implement action plans addressing variances and responding proactively to client needs • Manage third-party project management resources • Engage and supervise internal and external project management resources • Direct all project management phases, including procurement/contracting, initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closeout • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk • Develop project engagements with BU partners using the Variable Project Management model • Ensure adherence to corporate governance policies and procedures • Oversee contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout • Oversee accurate, timely, and compliant reporting for BU clients and the Facilities Project Delivery organization • Manage third-party outsourcing and vendor relations • Lead and manage the department and staff • Mentor and develop a high-performance team through staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, appraisal, and retention • Travel up to 40%
• Minimum of 14+ years’ experience in the construction industry and/or real estate development • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM), Operations, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling • 14+ years’ experience managing multiple large-scale facilities or real estate development and construction programs/projects across all phases of project management • 10+ years of project financial terminology and principles, with ability to analyze complex business/financial data and develop innovative solutions • 10+ years’ experience identifying complex project risks, leading constructability reviews, developing mitigation and contingency plans, and implementing risk-reduction actions • Strong technical aptitude • Experience using MS Office, including MS 360, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Experience recruiting, staffing, and managing additional team members or consultants • Demonstrated skill in managing project scope changes, identifying risks and opportunities, and developing contingency plans • Experience conducting post-project reviews and developing recommendations for process, tool, and resource improvements • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • U.S. citizenship required • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1 • Preferred: knowledge of enterprise-level software systems such as PeopleSoft and Workday • Preferred: ability to solve advanced problems and navigate complex situations with multiple options • Preferred: ability to travel up to 40%
