📋 Description

• Lead and manage a global, cross-regional commodity supplier development team • Set and deploy supplier performance, risk mitigation, and capability advancement strategy across sites and programs • Own commodity-level portfolio management, including GMRE exposure, product lifecycle status, supplier performance, and spend distribution • Drive manufacturing process standardization and execution across the supply base • Champion product knowledge maturity, value engineering, and cost improvement programs • Implement and sustain part, part family, and commodity-level risk identification, FMEA, including DFMEA, and mitigation strategies • Act as Global Supplier Development sponsor for assigned Strategic Business Units • Serve as the primary interface between Global Supplier Development and SBU executive leadership • Represent the commodity team in senior-level forums and align supplier development priorities with business-unit goals • Partner with BU supply chain leadership to co-own goals, drive priorities, and resolve escalations • Provide a data-driven voice of the supply base in BU decision-making • Drive SBU KPI alignment and prioritize commodity actions • Travel to supplier sites as needed, minimum 50% of the time • Develop and empower the team while fostering growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years’ experience • Demonstrated leadership of global teams • Success in cross-functional, matrixed environments • Analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets and KPIs • Site Lead/Ops Manager experience or proven track record in supplier performance improvement and development • University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field • Strong manufacturing and quality systems expertise • Experience with FMEA, PFMEA, APQP, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action planning, and performance tracking tools • Experience in regulated or complex manufacturing industries such as aerospace, defense, automotive, or industrial systems • Six Sigma or Lean certification (Green Belt or higher) • Executive-level communication and influencing skills • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Ability to travel to supplier sites at least 50% of the time
