📋 Description

• Support the entire investment process, including mapping investment trends, drafting presentation and briefing materials, and conducting financial and technical analysis • Support deal sourcing, due diligence, business modeling, and development and management of the opportunity pipeline • Collect market intelligence at industry events and conduct market research using public sources and third-party service providers • Coordinate diligence activities with corporate and Business Unit functional resources • Support portfolio analysis by assessing capabilities, technologies, and financial metrics against strategy and market opportunities • Prepare senior-level briefings by summarizing and communicating insights from detailed analyses • Maintain productive working relationships with RTX corporate and business unit functions including Technology, Strategy, Finance, Legal, and Digital • Work on multiple projects while providing clear thinking and hands-on guidance to cross-functional team members in a collaborative environment • Report directly to the Investment Principal and collaborate with the entire RTX Ventures team across the portfolio life cycle

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience • Minimum 2 years of transactional or strategy experience, such as VC/CVC, top-tier investment banking, business/corporate development, or consulting • Proven analytical and financial modeling skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Transactional experience in M&A, joint ventures, minority investments, partnerships, or similar • MBA and/or advanced technology degree preferred • Familiarity with S&P Capital IQ and Pitchbook is a plus • Aerospace and defense domain knowledge preferred
