📋 Description

• Drives robust RCCA across assigned supplier portfolio • Influences others regarding implementation of identified corrective/improvement actions • May manage moderately sized projects or processes. Typically viewed as subject-matter expert within discipline and Quality Engineering. • Has advanced to expert knowledge of Machining/Mechanical Fabrications. • Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures. • Problems faced are difficult and often complex. • Manages Supplier Quality & Development processes and / or projects as an individual contributor. • Works to achieve objectives that have a major impact on the organization Supplier Quality & Development goals. • Uses expertise to provide input on supplier qualification / certification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and quality issue resolution processes. • Manages the analysis of quality data and development of part / supplier specific quality issue resolution and corrective actions. • Provides research and guidance for root cause analysis & problem solving (A3, 8D, etc.) in escape management procedures. • Develops corrective and / or preventive actions for systemic process and product design problems for supplied product. • Leads implementation of the RTX ZERO program to ensure healthy continuous improvement and sustainability at key suppliers.

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field. • 8+ years’ professional experience in a supply chain operations environment, preferably Quality Engineering (monitoring, auditing, developing suppliers/operations) or equivalent • Deep understanding of the business, the context and major challenges to handle internal customers’ needs and develop approaches which satisfy their expectations. • Travel up to 50% required • Strong Machining/Mechanical Fabrications background. • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to speak effectively and easily with both internal and external executives and employees.
