📋 Description

• Participate in the Raytheon Cooperative Education Program as a part-time Software Engineer co-op • Participate in monthly engagement seminars • Complete Raytheon-required training • Participate in security clearance activities • Meet with a mentor • Spend 2–4 hours per month supporting co-op activities • After graduation and clearance approval, transition to a full-time onsite position in Richardson, Texas • Upon transition, support the design, development, and maintenance of systems supporting customer missions

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a Senior or Post-Graduate with graduation/completion of studies in December 2027 in Computer Science or a related STEM major • Must have a minimum of 90 credit hours by the start of the internship/co-op session • Experience developing object-oriented software using Java in a Linux environment; experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects • Ability to troubleshoot software errors and provide fixes in a modern IDE such as Eclipse or VSCode • U.S. citizenship required • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued TS/SCI security clearance • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1 • Experience with Agile development preferred • Experience with Python, C++, or JavaScript preferred • Experience with AWS Cloud applications preferred • Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred
