📋 Description

• Manage a high-volume procurement desk in a fast-paced environment while meeting accuracy and performance metrics • Prepare and issue RFPs and execute the PR-to-PO lifecycle • Perform price/cost analysis and place Firm Fixed Price, Letter Subcontracts and cost-type purchase orders in accordance with FAR/DFARS • Proactively manage suppliers to ensure on-time delivery through accurate status, oversight and recovery efforts • Present root cause and corrective actions to leadership based on metrics and supplier issues • Develop negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations covering price, delivery, scope and terms and conditions • Collaborate with Program and functional groups including Operations, Quality, Engineering and Program Management • Travel as required and lead supplier onsite reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations • U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract • Master’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related field preferred • Experience working with development-type procurement preferred • Experience managing a high-volume, quick-turn procurement desk preferred • SAP-based environment experience preferred • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including SOW, build-to-spec and build-to-print procurements preferred • Experience implementing/executing supplier recovery efforts preferred • Experience executing FFP and Cost Plus Fixed Fee contracts preferred • Familiarity with ITAR preferred • Demonstrated knowledge/compliance with FAR/DFARS preferred • Experience with written contractual authorization/vehicles preferred • Experience assessing proposal compliance under FAR 15.4 preferred • Ability to travel as required, up to 30%
