📋 Description

• Lead strategic sourcing activities across GE Vernova’s IT Professional Services and Cyber spend • Take strategic ownership of category spend and develop strategies to reduce total cost of ownership • Lead vendor management, demand management, governance, and compliance activities • Set global strategy, coordinate sourcing efforts and policy, and execute initiatives • Partner with IT, Finance, Engineering, and Sourcing stakeholders to reduce TCO and deliver service levels • Manage, optimize, coach, and engage a group of sourcing professionals • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for category spend areas • Champion and secure TCO reductions for Labor Services and Professional Services • Lead category budgeting, identify value-creation opportunities, define sourcing projects, and oversee execution • Partner with the Vendor Management Organization and functions including Engineering, Finance, and HR • Oversee the end-to-end sourcing process, including strategy, market analysis, RFX negotiations, supplier selection, contract creation, and buy channel management • Lead multifunctional stakeholder teams on strategic sourcing initiatives • Identify, document, and implement best practices • Partner with HQ and Segment CIOs to deliver value to GE Vernova • Measure internal performance within each subcategory and monitor benefit realization • Drive annual productivity improvements and value through supplier relationship management • Maintain a high-performing team and optimize and rationalize its work • Ensure employee engagement measured by Glint or equivalent surveys

🎯 Requirements

• For roles in USA, Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Sourcing, including IT sourcing, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, or equivalent consulting experience • Demonstrated ability in leading large-scale organizational, process, and culture change • Proven record of delivering complex end-to-end procurement projects • Ability to deal with ambiguous situations and manage challenging stakeholders • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable • MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering desired • IT category management/sourcing experience in a multinational company desired • Track record of driving step-change improvement in sourcing or similar functions desired • Strong analytical skills, including spend analytics, should-cost analysis, and market research and intelligence desired • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, desired • Demonstrated negotiation skills desired • Strong project management skills desired • Experience with RFQ implementation and execution desired • Working knowledge of ERP/SSS systems desired • History with supply base consolidation desired
