📋 Description

• Manage procurement managers and/or supervisors across multiple spend areas, sites, or business units, including hiring, termination, performance appraisals, and pay reviews • Direct development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals for cost optimization and supply chain reliability • Support development and implementation of the future-state procurement operating model, including organization design, processes, technology, policies, procedures, governance, and KPIs • Develop category strategies and multi-year sourcing roadmaps across major spend areas • Standardize procure-to-pay processes, approval workflows, and delegation-of-authority thresholds • Establish and own procurement KPIs, including purchase order cycle time, contract compliance, savings, supplier delivery, and purchase price variance • Develop and maintain procurement spend analysis and Power BI reporting dashboards • Approve higher-value awards and resolve escalated procurement issues • Direct supplier selection, evaluation, performance reviews, assessments, and corrective action plans • Establish supplier performance and risk management structures and maintain the procurement risk register • Evaluate, select, and lead rollout of procurement technologies and tools • Establish and oversee vendor contract management processes and technology • Manage procurement budgets, expenditures, cost controls, and savings initiatives • Build and report procurement savings and value-creation pipelines with Finance • Allocate buying capacity, staffing, and resources across teams • Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, IT, BI and Analytics, and business leaders • Report procurement performance, savings, and risk to senior leadership • Develop supervisors and managers and establish succession and capability plans

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered on a 1:1 basis • 12 years of progressive procurement, purchasing, or sourcing experience • Experience managing first-level managers and/or supervisors, including hiring, performance management, and pay decisions • Experience owning a procurement budget and delivering cost savings, contract compliance, and supplier performance targets • Experience negotiating and awarding supply agreements and resolving escalated supplier and commercial issues • Experience developing category strategies, strategic sourcing pipelines, spend analytics capabilities, supplier performance programs, and contract management processes • Broad knowledge of strategic procurement, category management, strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract lifecycle management, spend analytics, procurement governance, and the procure-to-pay cycle • Ability to develop and standardize procurement policy, controls, and process across multiple teams or business units • Skilled in supplier negotiation, evaluation, and performance management, including scorecards, reviews, and corrective action • Ability to analyze spend, cost structures, and budget impact and translate findings into savings and risk mitigation actions • Ability to define business requirements for procurement reporting, dashboards, and data models, including spend analysis cubes, Power BI dashboards, supplier scorecards, savings tracking, and contract compliance reporting • Working proficiency with ERP and procure-to-pay systems, spend analytics, and supplier management tools • Experience establishing procurement operating models, policies, procedures, governance forums, stakeholder engagement models, and change management approaches • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting procurement performance and risk to senior leadership • Ability to resolve cross-business-unit conflicts involving cost, quality, schedule, and risk • Must already possess work authorization in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable • Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time • Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required
