📋 Description

• Develop and implement category-specific sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and market conditions • Conduct spend analysis to identify savings opportunities and consolidation potential • Lead competitive bidding processes, including RFP/RFQ development, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations • Establish and maintain category roadmaps with timelines, milestones, and success metrics • Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and emerging technologies • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships • Conduct supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans • Identify and develop new supplier partnerships • Manage supplier risk assessment and mitigation strategies • Facilitate supplier innovation sessions and collaborative improvement initiatives • Partner with internal stakeholders across logistics, marketing, professional services, facilities, and HR • Translate business requirements into procurement specifications and sourcing strategies • Provide procurement expertise and guidance for business decisions • Communicate category performance, market insights, and recommendations to senior leadership • Negotiate terms and conditions to optimize total cost of ownership and mitigate risk • Develop and manage category budgets and track actual versus planned spend • Implement cost management initiatives and track savings • Ensure contract compliance and manage renewals and amendments • Support accounts payable resolution and supplier payment processes • Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes, tools, and methodologies • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements • Implement procurement best practices and support procurement systems and technology enhancements • Contribute to procurement policy development and standardization • Complete compliance training and other assigned educational programs • Perform other related duties as assigned • May select and hire analysts, provide onboarding and training, communicate expectations, monitor performance, coach employees, and establish goals and objectives for direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business, procurement, or a related discipline from an accredited university preferred • Five (5) years of relevant work experience in procurement or supply chain management required • Two (2) years’ healthcare experience, preferably in HME preferred • Industry-recognized certification such as APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), ISM Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), or equivalent preferred • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license in the state of residence • Industry knowledge of products and services • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent presentation skills • Above-average critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to negotiate pricing while maintaining positive vendor relationships • Ability to manage conflict and maintain constructive working relationships • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize work, and remain effective under pressure and changing conditions • Demonstrated cost savings from continuous improvement initiatives • Experience providing visible leadership to operational staff • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers and suppliers • Must maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and AdaptHealth’s Compliance Program
