• Lead and execute strategic procurement initiatives, including sourcing strategies, competitive bidding, RFP development, supplier selection, negotiations, and cost management • Develop and implement procurement strategies optimizing cost, quality, delivery, supplier performance, and business value • Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance across quality, delivery, cost, capacity, and contractual requirements • Lead complex supplier negotiations and commercial activities, including pricing, terms and conditions, agreements, and cost reduction initiatives • Analyze supplier pricing, financial data, market conditions, demand trends, and procurement metrics to support data-driven decisions • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including capacity constraints, shortages, and delivery disruptions • Partner with Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Program Management, and other stakeholders to resolve procurement and supply chain challenges • Lead supplier corrective actions and root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions • Establish and monitor procurement and supplier performance metrics, develop recovery plans, and communicate risks, trends, and opportunities to leadership • Support production readiness reviews, DMP management, audits, leadership reviews, and other strategic initiatives; travel up to 10–15% as business needs require
• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written) • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract • Prior procurement or strategic sourcing experience in an aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environment • Strong experience with SAP, Agile, or other ERP/MRP and procurement systems • Experience with competitive bidding, supplier development, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management • Knowledge of Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and root cause analysis • Knowledge of contract terms and conditions, FAR/DFAR regulations, and supplier compliance requirements
