📋 Description

• Execute a global people safety strategy in coordination with operations, engineering, and other stakeholders • Lead global safety programs including machine guarding, robotics, contractor safety management, emergency preparedness, and confined space • Execute initiatives, programs, reports, and training across multiple EH&S disciplines • Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve safety metrics and achieve project targets • Coordinate with site EH&S professionals and global functions to improve safety performance • Identify and implement data-driven improvement projects • Coordinate and participate in safety culture transformation across factories • Monitor customer goals, new EH&S legislation, and safety technologies • Coordinate safety metrics analytics, reporting, and data trending • Work with global sites on activities and projects needed to attain safety goals, including onsite support as needed • Mentor safety professionals and coordinate cross-training • Communicate updates to safety training materials across the organization • Maintain currency on regulatory, operational, and technical safety matters • Collaborate with RTX to align programs and initiatives • Travel up to 25% for site support on programs and initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in Health & Safety or related technical discipline and minimum 10 years overall EH&S experience; or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite products • U.S. citizenship is required • Must be based in the CT area and/or Northeast Region of the United States • Ability to be self-directed and manage own schedule to meet business requirements • Ability to travel up to 25% • Security clearance is not required
