• Collaborate with Military Engine Programs to support software systems for creating, publishing, distributing, and presenting technical documents • Manage customer expectations and ensure project scope and direction remain on schedule • Improve and maintain internal platforms enabling automated and on-demand publication of technical data • Support dependent engine programs to ensure on-time release deliveries • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to improve publishing performance • Design, build, test, and implement scalable front-end and back-end software • Write clean, functional code • Prepare and maintain technical software-development documentation • Collaborate with Military Engine Programs to implement S1000D-compliant technical data standards in a subsidiary authoring suite • Review and update technical publications Base of Estimates when needed • Track status, content, and funding cycles for each engine program
• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience, or Advanced degree with 3+ years of experience in Aftermarket industry supporting business operations • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies • Experience with GitHub, JIRA, or other code/product management software • 5+ years of experience in software development • 3+ years as a Full Stack Developer • Proven experience with Python, Java, HTML5, CSS3, XSLT, JavaScript, and Apache web servers • Proficiency in user-centered design (UI/UX) principles, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility • Strong knowledge of React.js, including components, state management, hooks, and lifecycle methods • Experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB, including SQL data retrieval • Ability to work independently • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Master’s degree in computer science or engineering with Maintenance Data Engineering background preferred • Experience with Pratt & Whitney IETP or IETM systems preferred • Experience with S1000D or other XML/SGML specifications preferred • Experience with CORENA or other technical authoring/publication software preferred • Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD software preferred • Ability to design and develop APIs preferred • Hands-on cloud computing experience, preferably Microsoft Azure, preferred • Experience designing and implementing AI-driven solutions, including Databricks or Snowflake and Kobai, preferred • Agile project management skills preferred
