📋 Description

• Act as the Member Point Focal within the New Product Introduction team • Work closely with suppliers to deliver affordable, high-quality parts meeting customer needs • Support the Global Supply Chain organization in improving supplier quality • Provide quality interface expertise and support to suppliers and Pratt & Whitney peer organizations • Guide supplier compliance with Pratt & Whitney quality systems and requirements • Coach and mentor suppliers through process control and continuous improvement • Maintain relationships with Procurement, Engineering, Value Stream Managers, Supplier Development Group, and suppliers • Execute supply base improvement plans with Engineering and Procurement • Support Vendor Corrective Action Board reviews • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels • Drive product and process improvements to meet supply base quality goals for process certification and supplier maturity • Use CORE tools to eliminate process escapes, reduce cost and lead times, and implement change • Coordinate cross-functional activities to improve supplier quality signatures • Maintain relationships with external suppliers’ quality and operations management teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 8 years relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience • Minimum of 3–5 years Quality Engineering experience in an aerospace production/manufacturing shop floor or equivalent environment • Knowledge and experience with AS9100 / ISO 9001 Quality systems • Knowledge of AS13100 Chapter B • Working knowledge/proficiency in APQP Quality tools, including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, DFMEA, FAI, GR&R, and GD&T elements • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and experience coaching process improvement and process control • ASQ (CQE, CQM) certifications • Proficiency leading and managing a portfolio of cross-functional projects • Proficiency in statistics, data analytics, DOE, and multivariate statistics • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Project • Proficiency with Minitab • Up to 25% travel may be required • U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
