It serves patients directly and partners with employers, health plans, and health systems, and emphasizes clinical standards, provider reviews, and ongoing professional development.

📋 Description

• Balance direct patient care with provider coaching and quality improvement across Rula’s 1099 psychiatric network • Conduct chart reviews and identify clinical, coding, and documentation issues • Deliver empathetic, direct feedback to providers • Translate clinical findings into actionable improvement plans • Cultivate strong, supportive relationships through peer outreach • Apply clinical judgment and organizational skills to support clinical excellence • Report directly to the Associate National Medical Director

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in California • Active California DEA registration • Current PMHNP board certification through ANCC or AANP • Minimum 3 years of outpatient psychiatric practice experience • Experience providing comprehensive psychiatric care in a fully remote telehealth setting • Familiarity with remote safety protocols and clinical considerations • Strong knowledge of psychiatric CPT coding and documentation requirements, including E/M level selection, MDM, Total Time, psychotherapy add-on code 90833, and compliance standards • Ability to conduct chart reviews and translate clinical findings into actionable improvement plans • Proficiency with modern EHRs, ticketers, and data platforms such as AMD, Salesforce, Zendesk, Airtable, Looker, and G-Suite • Ability to adapt quickly to new software • Must be based in the United States; currently not hiring in Hawaii • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Preferred: active PMHNP licensure in multiple states • Preferred: quality improvement, chart audit, or peer coaching experience • Preferred: experience or interest in AI tools for clinical quality and productivity • Preferred: experience writing clinical guidance documents, documentation templates, or coaching resources
