📋 Description

• Translate business needs and objectives into requirements and project estimates • Enable competitive and quality technology solutions in response to business needs • Document, configure, modify, design, develop, test, and deliver solutions • Design, develop, test, and deploy complex SQL query statements • Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced database-level stored procedures • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom user/system interfaces and processes using C++, Java, Android, and PowerShell • Drive innovation and creative solutions to business challenges • Support customer/enterprise change requests, customer projects, vertical projects, and technology projects • Plan and support testing • Collaborate with business partners, external customers, and IT functional teams on the product roadmap • Develop domain expertise through project experience, industry publications/events, and self-learning • Maintain detailed knowledge of the Ryder Distribution Management platform and technology offerings • Represent Ryder technology as the Distribution Management product subject matter expert in customer presentations and events • Perform product demonstrations and solution training • Communicate product capabilities and assigned project status • Submit weekly status reports and accurate, timely timesheets and project-required reporting • Contribute to continuous improvement and internal innovation • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in distribution management, supply chain, information systems, information technology, or business • Five (5) years or more in distribution / supply chain management experience • Experience in a 3PL/4PL environment preferred • Five (5) years or more in information technology and supply chain management systems • Five (5) years or more in supply chain technology projects and implementation of supply chain technology solutions • Five (5) years or more in use, configuration, or implementation of industry-recognized distribution management solutions • Five (5) years or more designing/coding custom user/system interfaces via C++, Java, Android, and PowerShell • Well-rounded knowledge of the distribution/3PL industry • Strong documentation skills for business requirements, functional design definition, and solution configuration • Strong client-facing skills and ability to build internal and external customer relationships • Ability to conceptualize system configuration and usage to solve business problems • Problem-solving ability for complex supply chain challenges • Ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions • Ability to work collaboratively to obtain results • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • High degree of professionalism • DOT regulated: No
