📋 Description

• Shape the strategy for Ryder's portfolio of multi-channel digital products, including websites, mobile apps and IoT experiences • Establish a design language system for product stakeholders and define best practices for engaging product teams • Support product stakeholders responsible for executing and supporting initiatives, standards and solutions • Provide unified governance over the design language system and evangelize design thinking • Ensure a consistent user experience across all platforms using methodologies, user research, visual patterns and style guides • Perform competitive analysis, user research, behavioral specifications and persona creation • Develop user journeys, test plans, information architecture, page flows, product roadmaps and wireframes • Design and facilitate workshops • Optimize customers' end-to-end experiences using data, insights and research • Identify design problems and devise user-centered solutions through rapid testing and iteration • Define qualitative and quantitative research practices and mentor others • Develop and lead internal user research and validation capabilities, including testing processes and partnerships • Optimize design-team frameworks and cross-functional workflows while supporting development teams • Promote design thinking, product strategies and developments across the organization through data-driven presentations • Coach, manage, mentor and promote multidisciplinary User Experience team members • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing large-scale, high-profile customer experiences for a variety of personas • Experience building and maintaining a robust design system supporting several product development teams • Experience with user research and quantitative and qualitative testing techniques • Ability to translate research findings into strategic business recommendations • Strong portfolio showcasing aesthetic design and interactive web and mobile samples • Advanced proficiency in UX software such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, XD, or other design, wireframing and prototyping tools • Advanced understanding of basic front-end languages and frameworks, including web component libraries, JavaScript, PWAs and other modern development frameworks • Bachelor's degree required • Advanced education in Interaction/UX Design or HCI • 8+ years' experience in product research and user experience (UX) design required • 5+ years designing for web, mobile and different types of applications required • Travel 10–20% • Must satisfy any applicable employment, education, motor vehicle, road-test, badging or customer background requirements
