📋 Description

• Manage program finances, revenue and expense budgets, and short- and long-term financial forecasts • Contribute to fiscal management, strategic planning, and tactical business planning • Identify new product lines and services to expand program relevance • Manage resources, volunteers, contractors, vendors, consultants, contracts, and contractor performance • Guide product and service offerings from introduction through obsolescence and evaluate new technologies • Oversee day-to-day program operations and allocate staff, budget, and resources across program, product, and service lines • Contribute to Consortium, SAE ITC, and SAE International goals and complete special projects • Recruit potential members and sponsors and promote membership and sponsorship opportunities • Review usage and satisfaction data and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders • Promote program products and services through customer, industry, and government engagement, meetings, forums, and conferences • Manage marketing and communications strategies and plans • Define user-experience research to identify obstacles, improve ease of use, customer satisfaction, and future product and service development

🎯 Requirements

• 8 years’ experience in technical engineering, project management, or business management positions, or combination • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, science, or business management • Technical/engineering expertise with experience in the areas of responsibility for position • Strong interpersonal and communications skills • Excellent analytical, writing, editing, and presentation skills • Ability to organize effectively, carry out independent action, work on simultaneous assignments, and perform functions in a confidential manner • Strong project management skills and proficiency with planning software and tools • Global and cultural sensitivities • Attention to detail • Strong team development, collaboration, and problem-solving skills • Understanding of trade association operations • Strong leadership skills developing and achieving organizational long- and short-range business plans and goals • Ability to work with high-level executives and commercial, government, military, and academic leaders • Strong computer skills, including MS Office and typical office application software • Knowledge of software and database systems • Must maintain a confidential and secure workspace and comply with company data security policies
