📋 Description

• Ensure accurate and timely regular, off-cycle, and annual payroll processing in a multi-state and multi-company environment • Calculate and process complex transactions, including FLSA calculations and compliance, incentive taxation, retroactive adjustments, payroll reconciliations, mass volume data loads, and bargaining payouts • Research, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex payroll issues, including reconciliations, overpayments, taxation, and adjustments • Provide technical payroll processing, calculation, and consulting expertise on business and technology issues affecting employee pay • Communicate research and analysis results to senior leaders, associates, external agencies, and vendors • Build reports, analyze complex datasets, audit data, and provide insights for business decisions and payroll efficiency • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues and provide customer service • Support system implementations, testing, process improvements, documentation, and payroll-related projects • Create and communicate SOPs and validate policies and procedures against federal and state laws • Maintain payroll, employee, and timekeeping records and review error and audit reports • Communicate system, tax, and location-assignment changes to business owners • Apply knowledge of ERISA, ACA, IRS, DOL FLSA, compensation, and fringe benefit programs • Act as a payroll subject matter expert and provide guidance and training • Perform other duties as assigned and comply with company policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience • 1-3 years of payroll experience in a multi-state, high volume environment • Prior Wage and hour experience • Intermediate Excel skills • Prior ADP, UKG, Workday, and / or Oracle Fusion experience • CPP or FPC Certification • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills – Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s • In-depth understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and accounting principles • Proficiency in payroll software and systems, including experience with advanced features • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll calculations • Effective communication skills to liaise with various departments and handle employee inquiries • Ability to analyze complex payroll issues and develop solutions • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive payroll information • Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time core business hours
