📋 Description

• Deliver accurate, on-time reporting to MCO clients and Medicare and Medicaid programs • Own report production, quality assurance, and submission tracking • Learn data sources, validation requirements, submission workflows, CFR requirements, MCO agreements, and state Medicaid handbooks • Execute assigned reports with accuracy in data entry, QA, and formatting • Take ownership of recurring reports and deliver on-time submissions • Translate reporting needs and defects into clear, actionable tickets for Data Analytics • Document workflows, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and maintain repeatable processes • Own government and client reporting end-to-end, setting priorities and timelines • Lead client-reporting process optimization and automation with Data Analytics • Perform prescribed QA checks, identify discrepancies, broken formulas, and unexplained variances, and escalate risks • Maintain SOPs, field mappings, regulatory research, and decision logs • Collaborate with Data Analytics, Product, Operations, and other SafeRide teams • Support audit-ready compliance reporting and mitigate reporting risk as the company scales

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role working hands-on with data, including building reports, analyzing datasets, and validating data accuracy • At least 1 year of healthcare, healthcare regulatory research, and/or health plan operations experience, working on regulatory analysis and preparing regulatory reports • Intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data validation, and data concatenation • Strong data entry accuracy and prescribed QA discipline • Working knowledge of SQL, data-query languages, or Python scripting • Ability to bridge communication with the data analytics team and understand technical data flows • Familiarity with Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI • Ability to use independent judgment to apply regulatory requirements to operational limitations and understand system-wide impact • Ability to manage multiple deadlines while documenting steps and gaps and keeping compliance reports and submission records audit-ready • Ownership mindset and drive to grow beyond data entry into process improvement, automation, and strategic work • Open to travel 2–4 times per year for company or team offsites • Legally authorized to work in the US • Medicare/Medicaid reporting experience, including navigating the CFR, MCO agreements, and state Medicaid handbooks (highly preferred) • Understanding of health plan operations, such as claims processing, utilization management, prior authorizations, and call center operations (highly preferred) • Strong project and stakeholder management skills (highly preferred) • Familiarity with Asana, Jira, or similar collaboration platforms (highly preferred) • Successful completion of a background check
