📋 Description

• Administer overall legal strategy and governance • Provide solutions to key stakeholders and lines of business • Support senior legal staff with special projects, operating licensing and permitting, and other legal matters • Support transactional due diligence and provide legal analysis for potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other strategic transactions • Draft, negotiate, analyze, summarize, and oversee completion of hospitality, venue-level, merchandise, sponsorship, sales, and marketing agreements • Prepare and negotiate location, subcontractor, licensing, independent contractor, temporary staffing, consulting, and services agreements • Support vendor and supplier relationship negotiations and documentation at the venue level • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and advise stakeholders on contract interpretation • Advise on intellectual property, trademark usage, IP licensing, advertising/marketing, and brand protection matters • Manage department workflow and day-to-day assignments • Research emerging and local laws, best practices, and operational issues; prepare internal memos and recommendations • Evaluate, draft, and revise company policies • Assist with statutory and local license filing and administration • Supervise employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, and resolving problems

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school • Licensed to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • 4-6 years of experience as a practicing attorney, ideally with transactional and in-house experience • Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, preferably in hospitality, venue management, sponsorship, merchandise, licensing, and other service contracts • Familiarity with intellectual property concepts, including trademark protection, IP licensing, franchise/licensing agreements and brand management, is preferred • Ability to work efficiently and multitask in an unstructured environment with frequent interruptions and demanding deadlines • Ability to effectively communicate and offer legal counsel to all internal corporate departments and specific venues • Outstanding negotiation and writing skills • Strong ability to draft and review legal documents and analyze complex issues • Ability to design and implement scalable systems and tools, including playbooks, standard operating procedures, and repeatable frameworks • Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve efficiency, output, and decision-making
