📋 Description

• Review contract documentation and billing requirements for accuracy and compliance • Validate project setup activities for accurate and timely invoicing • Prepare, analyze, and submit customer invoices for various contract types • Interpret contract terms and funding documentation to support billing • Maintain project billing records, instructions, and supporting documentation • Collaborate with Program Teams and internal stakeholders to resolve billing issues and ensure seamless processing • Perform payment reconciliations and support General Services Administration (GSA) billing activities • Provide billing guidance and customer service to internal functional teams • Assist with departmental training initiatives and process improvements • Support ad hoc projects and other billing department responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or a high school diploma/equivalent and 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree • US citizenship • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team • High attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with extreme accuracy • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with moderate supervision • Experience with Costpoint setup and billing (desired) • Government Contracting experience (desired) • Familiarity with Cost Plus, Time and Materials, and Fixed Price contract types (desired)
