📋 Description

• Author and maintain the annual Training Plan • Ensure all examiners complete required General and Specialty Certification Courses in VBA MDE TRAIN before conducting examinations • Manage examiner recertification on 5-year cycles and after 12-month inactivity triggers • Coordinate with the MDEO Train mailbox and COR to verify new examiner training completion before scheduling • Prevent training-based exclusions per Attachment AT and respond to deficiency notifications within 15 days • Ensure annual HIPAA and Privacy Act training completion for providers, support staff, and subcontractors • Contribute training metrics to Monthly Status Reports and ad-hoc reporting • Support Government training audits

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Health Sciences, Public Health, or related field • Minimum 10 years of training leadership experience, including 5+ years in a director-level role • Experience managing clinician or examiner training programs in a healthcare or federal contract environment • LMS experience; VBA MDE TRAIN strongly preferred • Expert Microsoft Excel and SharePoint proficiency • Ability to obtain a VA Background Investigation • Prior VA MDE, C&P, or DBQ program experience preferred • Master's degree preferred • CPLP, CPTM, or ATD Master Trainer credential preferred • Prior VA/VHA/DoD training program leadership preferred • Familiarity with PACT Act, Camp Lejeune, Gulf War, and airborne hazards training requirements preferred • Veteran status preferred
