📋 Description

• Manage the client’s Windows Servers, Linux Servers, Azure, and M365 services and systems • Install and manage IaaS and PaaS services, M365 services, Active Directory, Exchange, and VMware • Perform performance tuning, storage management, backup and recovery, security, and operational and application support • Participate in a rotating 7x24 on-call support schedule • Implement, monitor, and maintain Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions across compute, storage, networking, and security • Troubleshoot application infrastructure, connectivity, security, and server performance issues in Azure and on-premises environments • Build, configure, and maintain VMware ESXi and vCenter environments • Build and configure on-premises mailbox and Edge SMTP servers and perform day-to-day maintenance • Administer Active Directory, Entra/Azure AD, Group Policy, Azure Policies, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365 • Manage incidents, changes, problems, and configurations using ServiceNow

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years or more experience; four additional years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degree • Certifications in Azure Solution Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, or equivalent are highly recommended • Must be a US Citizen • Must be able to pass the California Department of Justice and FBI background check process • USPV+ is required • Must complete the USPV+ requirement before starting or receiving shipped equipment during onboarding • Extensive experience with Windows Server and Linux Server administrative tooling • Experience administering Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including compute, storage, networking, and security • Working knowledge of container infrastructure on Azure, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS • Experience with Azure backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions • Experience developing Infrastructure as Code using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, JSON, Bicep, or similar tools • Windows Server installation, configuration, upgrades, migration, and patching experience • Linux Server configuration, upgrades, migration, and patching experience • Experience troubleshooting Azure and on-premises application infrastructure, connectivity, and security issues • Experience troubleshooting CPU, memory, disk, and other server resource performance issues • VMware ESXi and vCenter administration experience • On-premises Exchange mailbox server and Edge SMTP server administration experience • Strong Active Directory and Entra/Azure AD design and server administration background, including Group Policy and Azure Policies • Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Kerberos, Windows authentication, VPN connectivity, and client troubleshooting • Experience administering Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and Office 365 • Experience using ServiceNow for incident, change, problem, and configuration management • Veritas NetBackup and NetApp storage administration are nice to have
