📋 Description

• Design & Develop high-quality code to improve platform reliability, availability, and scalability • Design, implement, and tune robust APIs and API framework-related features • Build and ship high-quality, production-grade software using modern engineering practices • Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows • Contribute to building and maintaining the shared system context • Critically evaluate code (Human or AI-generated) for correctness, quality, security, and performance • Lead, collaborate, communicate, and mentor others on the team • Handle large data sets in the cloud • Build novel capabilities and new services leveraging and extending complex platforms • Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real time

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience • Deep knowledge of Java • Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST, GraphQL, etc) • Strong understanding of distributed systems • Deep knowledge of data concepts related to relational databases • Experience developing client-side code via JavaScript/TypeScript/Ajax/etc • Experience in enterprise environments such as source code control, IDE, continuous deployment, and release management (Git, perforce, Eclipse, Intellij, VSCode, Jenkins) • A demonstrated, genuine AI-first approach to engineering • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, etc.) in development workflows • Advanced prompt engineering skills • Experience with Agile software development and Test Driven Development methodologies • Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment • A related technical degree required.
