📋 Description

• Design and build end-to-end features across frontend and backend for diverse customer industries • Leverage AI to prototype solutions, unblock customer deals, and accelerate risk-reducing refactors • Partner with the engineering manager and staff engineers to advocate for technical excellence • Collaborate with the product manager and designer to build efficient planner interfaces and APIs • Mentor junior engineers and help build a strong technical bench • Measure efficiency across Routing products, including route execution and commercial navigation • Participate in customer interviews and collaborate with customer success and product managers • Use metrics to ensure engineering work improves customer outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience • 6+ years of experience as a software engineer • Demonstrated ability executing in ambiguous environments • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical audiences and customers • Proven experience shaping and improving routing and navigation products • Experience mentoring junior engineers • Track record of thriving in 0→1 teams and scaling them through the post–startup phase • Experience operating as a tech lead or in a similar technical role directly impacting other engineers’ output • Willingness to engage directly with customers when needed • Must reside in the US or Canada • Relocation assistance will not be provided
