📋 Description

• Contribute to proposals as assigned • Oversee project timelines and budgets • Work directly with clients to ensure project success • Develop project budgets and schedules • Manage contract and subcontract issues • Troubleshoot operational issues impacting projects • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to assigned projects • Manage medium and large, complex, multi-year projects with substantial budgets and stakeholder management needs • Understand and manage contracts and subcontracts • Communicate with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers • Manage technical and non-technical project details • Lead and collaborate with project teams • Lead and facilitate meetings • Coordinate project teams and delegate technical tasks • Ensure quality of project deliverables • Perform project planning and status reporting • Conduct budget projections, tracking, reporting, and analysis • Apply project management best practices, tools, and applications • Train and mentor other Project Management staff • Follow Sanborn’s Quality Management System (QMS) • Lead proposal writing, including project approach and scope development, budget development, and schedule development • Nurture existing client relationships to acquire new and repeat business • Support Sales and Marketing in pursuing new business • Coordinate contract and subcontract negotiations • Travel occasionally as required • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related degree • Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated project management experience • Experience managing web application development projects • Experience working with or understanding GIS/geospatial data • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills • Energetic attitude and desire to work in a collaborative team environment • Analytical and problem-solving skills • PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) • Applicant must live in the U.S. • Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S. • Experience in Transportation, Land Cover, and/or Tree Canopy projects preferred • Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred • Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
