📋 Description

• Serve as a BMS & EPMS subject matter expert within the Innovation and Engineering team • Support the design and execution of Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems across STACK projects • Partner with Preconstruction, Construction leadership, design teams, and OFCI vendors to establish, maintain, and govern controls requirements • Review customer technical specifications and Basis of Design requirements • Evaluate drawings, specifications, sequences of operation, control diagrams, points lists, network architectures, and equipment integration requirements • Work with engineering teams to resolve design gaps and technical conflicts • Review design drawing packages prepared by Engineers of Record • Evaluate mechanical and electrical equipment submittal packages • Coordinate requirements between design teams, construction teams, controls contractors, and equipment vendors • Work directly with construction teams throughout project execution • Assist with commissioning activities to ensure installed controls systems align with approved design and project requirements • Translate controls requirements to appropriate project stakeholders • Work with design teams to incorporate customer requirements into project design and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Project Controls Manager with BMS & EPMS subject matter expertise • Ability to interpret and develop controls requirements associated with Sequence of Operations, including instrumentation, sensor selection, control points, alarms, trends, setpoints, interlocks, permissive, fail-safe conditions, and equipment operating sequences • Technical expertise in BMS and/or EPMS system design, integration, architecture, and operation • Understanding of field devices, equipment controllers, supervisory controllers, meters, gateways, servers, and front-end platforms within an integrated controls environment • Ability to review mechanical and electrical equipment submittals for compliance with controls specifications, communication requirements, factory-installed controls, interface points, gateway requirements, and project design intent • Ability to read, interpret, and review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building systems and associated monitoring and controls • Experience with BMS and/or EPMS systems; deep expertise in either mechanical or electrical controls encouraged • Strong understanding of the construction process and coordination between design, construction, vendors, and controls contractors • Proficiency with construction management software and project documentation • Ability to operate as a subject matter expert across multiple project stakeholders • Ability to independently interpret customer or owner requirements and translate them into executable project documentation • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Must pass comprehensive background and drug screening • Domestic travel required; 30%
