📋 Description

• Assist in monitoring ongoing compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and Cyber Essentials • Coordinate audit preparation by collecting documentation, organizing evidence repositories, and tracking audit action items • Maintain a centralized compliance calendar for recurring filings, policy review cycles, and regulatory deadlines • Update the central Risk Register, track risk owners, and monitor remediation progress • Log compliance incidents, policy breaches, and near-misses; track corrective actions • Gather data and draft routine risk and compliance dashboards for management review • Support drafting, version control, and distribution of internal policies and SOPs • Assist with compliance training materials, employee completion tracking, and onboarding security training • Provide administrative support, including meeting coordination, agenda preparation, and action-item tracking • Serve as a first point of contact for internal compliance documentation and procedure inquiries

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, compliance support, operational risk, or audit-adjacent role • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Information Technology, Finance, or equivalent practical experience • High familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira/Confluence, or Notion • High attention to detail and rigorous organizational skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Discretion and integrity when handling confidential or sensitive organizational data • Basic familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, or data privacy regulations such as GDPR or POPIA (preferred) • Prior experience working in a fully remote team environment (preferred) • Exposure to GRC software or ticketing tools (preferred) • Ability to work effectively in small physical teams and larger virtual efforts • Self-drive to communicate constantly using web collaboration and video conferencing
