📋 Description

• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to residents • Collaborate with residents, families, providers, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care • Practice within the full scope of nursing expertise and applicable age- and population-specific standards • Provide preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, resident assessment, education, care coordination, and nursing interventions • Serve as charge nurse when assigned • Delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel • Support delegates to ensure safe and reliable resident care and resolve care and service concerns • Follow the Nurse Practice Act, Administrative Rules, professional nursing standards, and ANA Code of Ethics

🎯 Requirements

• Part-time employment • Minimum of 18 years of age • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
