📋 Description

• Review credit applications and pull credit reports • Request trade references, financial statements, and other information needed for credit decisions • Review existing customer credit files and evaluate financial statements, account history, competitor analysis, personal guarantees, and letters of credit • Communicate with customers to understand their businesses, request information, negotiate, and provide options • Communicate credit-review results and guidance to internal teams • Review custom orders, determine deposits and terms, and maintain custom-order records • Monitor and report on specific customers and customer segments • Maintain customer account information in SanMar databases • Perform other assigned duties • Comply with all policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of related credit or accounts receivable experience or equivalent education • Experience in risk management and decision-making • High level of competency with computer and software applications • Excellent communication skills • Excellent time management and organization skills • Strong negotiating skills and ability to achieve positive results • Ability to communicate effectively with diplomacy and tact • Ability and willingness to learn • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work as part of a team and be self-directed with minimal supervision • Approachable and flexible, with ability to change directions quickly and positively • Ability to work standard hours of 8:00–5:00 PST • Periodic travel may be required • Must be able to perform extended computer-based work and occasionally lift or move 10–15 pounds
