📋 Description

• Own the roadmap for Scotch’s Android point-of-sale app and shape the register experience • Prioritize merchant escalations, platform work, and long-term product bets • Partner with engineering on scoping, sequencing, and release decisions • Spend time in merchants’ stores observing staff and gathering customer insights • Translate merchant input into product direction and outcome-focused requirements • Ensure the app works with peripherals, unreliable networks, and busy-store conditions • Own releases end to end, including rollout plans and incident response • Serve as product contact for support, onboarding, and go-to-market teams • Write release notes and keep internal teams and merchants informed • Define success metrics, instrument features, monitor adoption, and evaluate outcomes • Raise standards for product writing, decision-making, and merchant communication

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience • Experience owning a native mobile app as a product surface, including setting a release cadence, rolling changes out to devices already in use, and handling broken versions in the field • Fleet or MDM experience • Track record of being the only person accountable for a decision without pre-shipment review • Consistent habit of direct, in-person customer contact at merchants' stores • Sound judgment and ability to explain decisions, including a call you got wrong • Experience running several workstreams simultaneously and making tradeoffs independently • Clear communication for engineers, merchants, support leads, and executives
