📋 Description

• Own the Resident Onboarding Lift roadmap and performance metrics, including AppFolio door enablement, enrollment rate, and resident adoption • Set targets, report progress to leadership, and own outcomes • Become the internal expert on resident onboarding within AppFolio, including lease templates, signing order, counter-signing, and property-manager move-in processes • Contribute to the joint roadmap with AppFolio’s product team • Own and execute weekly AppFolio joint partner calls and deliver time-bound commitments • Write clear, complete, buildable product requirements • Align engineering, marketing, and support so launches reach customers • Establish discovery, experimentation, iteration, and customer-feedback processes • Use product analytics and performance insights to identify friction and validate opportunities • Influence AppFolio product strategy, platform capabilities, and roadmap decisions • Drive measurable improvements in activation, enrollment, onboarding performance, and resident experience • Operate as an individual contributor without direct reports

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in product management, including time owning a product line or platform end to end • Demonstrated business results beyond features shipped • Experience turning strategy into a sequenced roadmap and winning investment to build it • Experience building products dependent on a partner's platform • Demonstrated experience influencing a major partner’s strategy and roadmaps • Ability to influence leadership, partners, and customers, including standing ground in senior-executive debates • Technical fluency sufficient to earn engineering’s trust and make architecture tradeoffs • Curiosity and passion for the market and product; ability to investigate why products are or are not working • Must be available during scheduled working hours, generally East Coast hours, with some flexibility • Quiet, professional, distraction-free work environment • Own reliable high-speed internet connection • Legal right to work in the United States after hiring • Bonus: Direct experience with AppFolio, Proptech or SaaS experience, or complex B2B2C products
