• Analyze and process low to mid-level auto and transportation claims • Process auto property damage and lower-level injury claims • Assess damage, make payments, and ensure claim files are properly documented and coded according to policy • Develop and maintain action plans to meet state-required contract deadlines and move files toward prompt and appropriate resolution • Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities • Secure and dispose of salvage • Communicate claim actions and processing with insureds, clients, and agents or brokers when appropriate • Maintain professional client relations • Perform coverage, liability, and damage analysis on all assigned claims • Support the organization's quality programs • Perform other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred • Secure and maintain required state adjusting licenses • Familiarity with personal and commercial lines policies and endorsements • Ability to review and assess property damage estimates, total loss evaluations, and related expenses • Ability to negotiate first- and third-party claims effectively • Knowledge of total loss processing, state salvage forms, and title requirements preferred • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products • Analytical and interpretive skills • Strong organizational skills • Good interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed service expectations • Ability to perform computer keyboarding • Hearing, vision, and talking ability • Clear and conceptual thinking ability • Excellent judgment and discretion • Ability to meet deadlines
