📋 Description

• Expedite the claims application process • Ensure correct case assignment • Act as a customer liaison to identify the correct contact person for problems and questions • Solve customer problems related to the application process and service • Communicate with customers by telephone and written correspondence regarding the claims process • Educate customers about required claim documentation, time frames, payment information, and claim status • Enter verbal and written application information accurately into the claims management system • Assign new claims to the appropriate claims handler • Direct customer calls to the correct person at all locations • Participate in and maintain a quality service culture within the Customer Service Team • Support the organization's quality programs • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required • One (1) year customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred • Experience in an inbound call center preferred • Knowledge of disability plan eligibility, coverage, and benefits • Good customer service skills • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office products • Strong organizational skills • Good interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies • Attendance during scheduled work hours is required • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Computer keyboarding ability
